The Mundelein Business Alliance (MBA) was founded in 2014 by a group of local business owners. The MBA seeks to educate, promote, and advocate on behalf of the businesses of Mundelein. We are passionate about growing Mundelein and strives to ensure that businesses and residents are aware of the many opportunities they have to work and shop locally.


As an organization the MBA is committed to developing and implementing programs that help promote the businesses of Mundelein while also attracting new businesses into 60060, always mindful that strong and healthy businesses are the backbone of the community. We are dedicated to providing current and relevant information to educate and inform our members. We advocate in the best interests of our members with our marketing programs and our pledge to maintain an open and supportive dialogue with our elected officials and village administration.


Board of Directors

Kip Stehling  (Current Board President) is a Texas native and Marine Corps Veteran. Kip has spent 10 years as a hospitality leader and hotelier. For the past two years he has been General Manager of the  DoubleTree by Hilton  in Mundelein. Kip’s heart lies in his faith, family, philanthropic organizations, and the local community. He joined the MBA in 2015 and currently serves on the Board as Events Co-Chair.

Anthony Fiorelli (Current Board President) 


Kerston Russell has lived in Mundelein for 20 years. He is an entrepreneur, a business owner, a civic activist, and a community leader. The Mundelein Business Alliance was established in 2014 – Kerston is a Founding Member, is the original Board President.


Melissa Norton has been a Mundelein resident for 30 years. She owns Holcomb Hollow – which produces locally sourced jams and gluten free vegan pastries. She also operates a culinary incubator kitchen. Melissa is a Founding Member of the MBA, is the original Board Secretary, and currently serves on the Board as Secretary.


Alicia Macias is the dedicated Branch Manager of First Midwest Bank in Mundelein – which is in the business of helping clients achieve financial success throughout their economic life. Alicia is a Founding Member of the MBA, is the original Board Treasurer, and currently serves on the Board as Treasurer and Membership Chair.

Susan Peterson has resided in Mundelein for 20 years and is very active in the community. She has had a dual career as a Graphic Designer and Realtor. Licensed since 1999, she is experienced and active in both Residential and Commercial Real Estate. Susan has been an MBA Member since 2014, is the past Membership Chair, and currently serves on the Board as Marketing Co-Chair.

Paul Kaufman founded PAK Computer Services, Inc. in 1997. His company specializes in technology installations and solutions for both individual homeowners and large corporations that rely on multi-layered networks. Mr. Kaufman delivers vast experience in network systems, hardware and connectivity, and website maintenance and management.
